4 May 1957 - 18 Aug 2006 (49 yrs old) RIP. We remember Shabnam in lots of ways. A loving mother, sister and friend who touched the lives of many, many people. She was a true fighter and showed remarkable strength and courage during her battle with ovarian cancer, hiding so much behind her smile and infectious laugh. Shabnam's journey through life gives us all the inspiration to carry on without her. A woman who stood by what she believed in, even when the world was against her. She did everything for her children and stood shoulder to shoulder with the people she loved the most. She was a true friend who would never let you down. Always lending a shoulder to cry on, picking you up when you were feeling down, and never afraid to speak the truth. Although we miss her terribly, we know she is in a better place. She has certainly left her footprints in all of our hearts forever.
